Saudi Arabia Empty Quarter

The expedition will start in Riyad to the Empty quarter   : visiting few sites from Thesiger second traverse in 1948 and the natural reserve of Uruq Bani Maarid as well as the 500 square kilometer rock art site of Hima wells : an important water source on the incense trade route coming from Oman and Yemen all the way to Egypt  and the Mediterranean .

 it was noted the petroglyphs of the ibex and the horse riders are repeated throughout Arabia , especially  around the empty quarter in Oman and Saudi Arabia which may be related to the history of horse domestication . 

our detailed Survey and  experience in crossing the desert  enables us to be pioneers for  exploring remotest desert landscapes and remotest  prehistory  rock art  sites.
